Dassault Systemes at CES
"The exhibition space was an interactive immersive experience designed to bring visitors into the virtual world the 3D Experience Platform."
For the first time, Dassault Systèmes had their own exhibition space at CES 2016 in Las Vegas.
The 3DEXPERIENCE Company is a world leader in 3D design software, 3D digital mock-up, and product life-cycle management. The exhibition space was an interactive immersive experience designed to bring visitors into the virtual world of the 3D Experience Platform and encapsulated the themes of “Dream, Create and Live”.
A 3D application supported by a virtual reality helmet transported the public into the heart of the process that helps companies transform products into unforgettable experiences. With this tool, each visitor was able to virtually design, adjust and test a product.
My job was the project lead from Shanghai hub, coordinate with Paris, Las Vegas and Detroit to push the project forward. With design coming from Paris, production from Shanghai, the plan is to pre-produce everything in Shanghai with supervision from Paris, once production is done and ship all materials to US for resembling with help from local labors and technicians. It was a very challenging project when it comes to communications, production and operation. It was an experiment to work this way with 4 different time zones, but the result was a success. DS has continued their CES journey since then.
